Huge Boost For Balbriggan Tidy Towns

Balbriggan Tidy Towns committee has received a shot in the arm with the announcement that the local Chamber of Commerce has decided to give its full backing to the committee in an effort to be competitive this year. President of Balbriggan Chamber, Joe English said, “We are delighted that the Tidy Towns are back in Balbriggan and we will give them all the support they need. Nifti Launches Two New Services

Pictured at the launch of Nifti's two additional services at Balbriggan Town Hall last Thursday are County Mayor, Ken Farrell, Chairman of Nifti, Cathal Boland and Cathaoirleach of Balbriggan Town Council, Frank Snowe.     Nifti, the rural transport initiative in the North County has launched two new routes to begin operation for the months of July and August. New President Elected

Balbriggan and District Chamber of Commerce held their AGM on 5th May 2010 where outgoing president Seán Staunton presented the chains of office to new president Joe English (left).

Anthony Murphy was proposed and seconded to be the chamber's vice president (right).

Also appointed to the board of the Chamber were Aogann Dunne (bottom left) taking up the position of Chamber Secretary and Andrew Forde (bottom right) as Chamber Treasurer
