On the evening of Saturday the 3rd of December the Balbriggan Chamber of Commerce were extremely proud to welcome their members and their guests to their 2011 Gala Ball.

Last Friday night the Balbriggan Tidy Towns team left their shovels and wheelbarrows at home and took some time out to celebrate their 2011 Tidy Towns Endervour Award success by meeting up with their friends and
supporters for a social evening.

The Balbriggan Town Council Awards Ceremony was held on Thursday 13th October in the Bracken Court Hotel, Balbriggan. The Town Council Awards Ceremony is a significant event every year in Balbriggan as it is an opportunity for the Town Council to acknowledge the achievements of the clubs, organisations and individuals who make Balbriggan a great town to live in.

Bridgestone Balbriggan FoodFest

Our FoodFest on August 20th was a fantastic day, with the sun shining for most of the event, a wonderful cooking demo from guest Chef Stephen Grimes who showed us how to use fresh local produce to make a 3 course meal, lots of food tastings from local restaurateurs and food producers, not to mention live music, local crafts and a petting zoo and face painting for the kids.
