Balbriggan Chamber of Commerce held its inaugural Summer Barbecue at The Balrothery Inn on Friday, 13th of July 2018. Over 80 people attended, comprising members, non-members and their families and friends, on a beautiful summer’s evening. The barbecue afforded the attendees an opportunity to relax and do some fun networking, in an informal setting.
Chamber President, Mr John Cumisky welcomed everyone to the event and thanked them for their support, not just for this event, but for all the other events which the Chamber run in the course of the year. The President said that the next few years are very important for Balbriggan as the Socio-Economic Strategy, in association with Fingal County Council, is rolled out and implemented in the town. The event was attended by a number of staff from Fingal County Council.
The excellent food on the night was provided by The Balrothery Inn and they also provided the entertainment. The outdoor space proved to be an ideal venue, and the feedback from the event has been fantastic. The Summer Barbecue will now become a feature of Balbriggan Chamber’s annual calendar of events.
